My Hot Flashy Journey ~

Hi Ladies,

I’m Melody—Mel to my friends.

I have so much to share with you, it won’t all fit here. I’ll spill all the juicy details in my blog posts, but let me start by telling you a little about me…

I’m 52, menopausal, and 2023 was my awakening.

I lovingly call it my year of growth—a season where I was cracked open, stretched, and ultimately transformed. It was the year I stopped abandoning myself and finally learned what it truly means to value me—fully, fiercely, and unapologetically.

I turned 50, got divorced, lost 32 pounds, dated some duds, started asking myself the HARD questions, and got to work!

I tackled the chaos with something I call my Navy Seal Mindset, which I’ll share with you on my blog. I taught myself discipline, perseverance, and consistency. I learned how to be soft, feminine, classy, and receiving. I learned to love myself—and began to believe that…

I am THE PRIZE!

I’ll show you how all these changes led me to Mr. Rick—the love of my life. The kind of love I never truly believed existed. And it made me realize I’d been settling for less my entire life. You’ll meet him, and also hear about the crazy way we met. Part manifesting… part Tinder. (He says I prayed to Venus for his weenus. 😉)

Now, I want to share everything I’ve discovered with you—so you don’t just survive this chapter…

You rise in it.

You reclaim it.

You own it.

Because for me, midlife isn’t the end—it’s my encore. And baby…

I AM center stage.

Let’s make midlife the best damn show yet. Join me on my blog, Hot Takes and Sassy Thoughts, and let’s own the stage—together.
